I began writing with serious intent towards the end of my teens while working in graphic design and photography studios in London. In the years that followed, I wrote all sorts of things - novels, stage plays, TV dramas, sitcoms and so on - but when a novel for children called When the Snow Falls was published in 1995 it felt like a pointer to a direction to follow for a while, and follow it I did. Around forty books later I’m now returning, in part, to pre-publication mode: writing for myself in the first instance rather than for a specific market, and issuing the results as ebooks. That said, four of the titles shown below have previously been published in hardback and paperback, while The Realities of Aldous U is an Author’s Cut re-edit of the three volumes of The Aldous Lexicon (known as The Withern Rise Trilogy in America).
